Applications are invited for the following posts in the Rubber Board.
1) Director (Processing & Product Development) - Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay of Rs.7600. No.of vacancies: One. Unreserved. Qualifications: Essential : (a) Masters degree in Chemistry or Degree in Engineering or Rubber Technology (b) 10 years experience in research and/or developmental activities connected with rubber processing or technology (c) Ability to plan, organise and guide agricultural development projects (d) Knowledge of modern methods of processing natural rubber Desirable : (a) Experience as Head of a research and/or development division preferably dealing with rubber production or technology. (b) Experience in the administration of a research development and/or a training project. (c) Knowledge of modern methods of extension techniques. (d) Knowledge of a modern foreign language. Age limit: 45 years as on 30.04.2009, relaxable in favour of persons in the service of the Rubber Board and by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Place of posting: Kerala.

2) Vigilance Officer - Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 and Grade Pay of Rs.6600. No.of vacancies: One. Unreserved. Qualifications: Essential : (a) A Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce. (b) A Degree in Law. (c) Expertise in handling vigilance/anticorruption enquiries including ability, competence, skill etc. in framing charge sheets, proceedings, orders etc. (d) Minimum of 5 years experience in a responsible position in handling legal/vigilance/anti-corruption matters. Desirable : Experience in conducting departmental enquiries. Age limit: 45 years as on 30.04.2009. Place of posting: Kerala.

Central Government rules/orders relating to age relaxation shall also applicable to both the posts of Director (P&PD) and Vigilance Officer.

All the posts carry Dearness Allowance and other benefits as applicable to Central Government Employees.
